Challenge: How to bring Pixel Drop to life with no to little budget and a short timeline as a mini social campaign.

Solution: Animated product and lifestyle photography with a unique layout playing with the rounded square shape to bring the latest Pixel Drop to life on YouTube, Instagram and X.

Role: Art direction, pre-production, post-production

Challenge: Given creative freedom to change the format from previous branding to create something that would make viewers want to watch and get excited about the latest feature drop on Google Pixel.

Solution: Using social media as inspiration, we wanted to showcase fun use cases of fails that we all love to watch and create Google Pixel’s version of an “Oh shit!” moment to an “Oh shiiiiit.”

Role: Art direction, pre-production, post-production

Challenge: How to make each drop feel significant and newsworthy, even if some features are expansions of existing ones or apply to older devices, including the release of the Pixel 9 series and the increasing integration of Gemini.

Solution: In addition to a Google blog post, longform videos were added to YouTube while short, punchy videos and static graphics for Instagram, X (Twitter), and Facebook, showcasing one or two compelling features per post.
